Terms & Conditions

These terms govern any order placed with Ultra-Quark, a sole trader registered in South Australia (ABN 24 118 902 411). By placing an order you accept the terms below.

Orders and quotation

Every set is made to order. Prices listed on the website are starting prices; a personal quotation is confirmed in writing before work begins. Lead times are typically 8 to 14 weeks for bespoke sets and 2 to 4 weeks for items currently on the bench.

Deposit and payment

We ask a 30% deposit to begin work and the balance before dispatch. Payments are accepted by bank transfer (AUD), PayPal, or Visa/Mastercard via Stripe. International orders may be quoted in USD or EUR on request.

Hand-made character

Each piece is hand-turned and hand-finished. Small variations in grain, colour, and weight are inherent to the craft and are not defects. The photographs on this website are representative; we are happy to send images of your specific set before dispatch.

Shipping and risk

Orders ship from Hahndorf in a cedar case, fully insured. Risk passes to you once delivery is signed for. Australian deliveries arrive in 3–7 working days; international deliveries in 7–21 working days depending on destination and customs.

Cancellation and returns

You may cancel a bespoke order within 7 days of placing it for a full refund of the deposit. After production begins, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Stock items may be returned within 14 days of delivery in original condition, at your cost, for a full refund of the item price.

Warranty

Every set carries a 10-year workshop warranty against defects in workmanship — loose felts, splitting joints, structural failures. Normal wear, drops, and humidity damage are not covered, but we will always quote on a repair.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Adelaide.
